Amarettos Restaurant

My family enjoy their Thursday Steak Special and some Mussels. For starters we have Arancini balls and Honey soy Chicken. The staff are very warm, pleasant and accomodating. Generous portion and waiting time wasn't that long. We enjoy our meal and we will definitely try other menu. My only suggestion is to have good lighting as the inside seem so dark.

Called up about 20 minutes before coming & whilst the restaurant was quite busy, they managed to squeeze us in. Wish all phone etiquette of restaurants or businesses in general were as nice, welcoming & accommodating as this chap who had answered then assisted with the reservation. As soon as we were seated menus were provided & time allowed for us to make our decision. Nice cold carafe of iced tap water was provided. The server returned to check if we were ready to order. We were & the order was taken. The main course arrived promptly. As you will see from the pictures attached, the dishes are generous. The green leaf salads had cucumber as well as tomato on the accompanied by a yummy dressing. The chips were cooked nicely too and a generous portion as well. We had ordered : Fish & Chips - where 2 pieces of battered fish were presented that were crispy & tasty. Chicken Parmigiana- chicken breast was good Medium Rare Steak with peppercorn sauce- steak was good, as was the sauce. Grilled fish- was good We were offered sweets and decided to indulge & share 2 sweets between us. Velvet Cake & Baileys Cake. Both were served with ice cream and very tasty. All requests were greeted with a smile and done most willingly. Such an absolute pleasure! When we finished our cold tap water, a member of the wait staff actually came over with more without having to ask. Wow! It was a most enjoyable lunch with truly good old fashioned service and we will be back for sure!

We had a group booking of 25 and had a set menu. I asked to change a few things and Naomi was extremely accommodating. The food was fabulous. Very generous portions and all the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit and especially recommend it for large groups. Perfect in every way!

We came from another restaurant that told us they were fully booked out , with average staff members telling us just to go sit at the bar. My wife and I very rarely get to go out due to such a busy lifestyle , and sitting at a bar wasn't going to happen . From the moment we walked in , to the time we left ,was incredible , the service was quick ,the food came out in large servings, quick , and fresh, one of the staff members checked in on us to see if we were ok and enjoying ourselves, and another even took the time to help us with a photo of my wife and I . Thankyou to the 2 ladies and guy that waited on us , definitely went above and beyond . And made our once in a blue moon date night a great one . will Definitely be back and recommend. 🙂

Me and my boyfriend went here for a date and we absolutely loved it! We were greeted at the door because we made a reservation and then they walked us to our seats, and there was already water waiting on the table for us, We ordered our food and they made it so quick! I’m impressed, the chefs should be proud! I loved the food and drinks so much! Thank you for the first time experience! We will definitely be coming back! And I would suggest the chicken Chardonnay, chicken parmi and the creamy mussels!

Service was lovely and gracious. Servings were good to large. Flavours, at least of my food were good, not awe inspiring. Starter dishes, to me, were a little disappointing. Garlic bread was a bit dry, but plenty of it. Bruschetta, nice but nothing special - in fact the bread base was a bit flowery and dry. Extensive drinks list, extensive food menu. Next time I’ll try something different.
